Merlin Standard Pass is No Longer Popular with their Loyal Custermers

Merlin Entertainments Are Removing the Free Car Parking Perk from the Standard Annual Pass, Many People are Not Happy About this, Melin Had Millions of Pages of Complaints About this, Existing Passes will Not Be affected by this, Passes Bought or Renewed From the 4th January Will Be a Pass what Gives No Free Car parking and No Entry Before 2pm in August to Legoland Windsor

The Beastie .... IS STAYING!!!

The Beastie will Still Be at Alton Towers Resort for the 2011 Season as its So Old it will not be open For Half Term Fun, This is Great News For Some people and Specially as 2011 will be a Family Friendly Year and The Coaster is great for Young Thrill Seekers and is now Rumoured to leave the Park in 2012's Closed Season

Shrek 4D- Cancelled

Shrek 4D is Cancelled and Will not Be at Alton Towers in 2011, This Means Alton towers might have to make a Rush Job on The Movie if Consturction on the Cinema has Already Started
Dreamworks are unhappy with the quality of The Far Far Away Theme for Storybook Land and Therefore Cancelled the Contract with Alton Towers
The Cinema Will Be Built by Simworx and Will Probs be Simorx In the House

2011 Events

February Half Term Saturday 19th February – Sunday 27th February 2011
During this event the park will be open between 10am and 4pm will a selection of rides to accommodate everyone.

Main 2011 Season Saturday 26th March – Thursday 3rd November 2011
The park opens for the start of the main 2011 season on Saturday 26th March 2011. The end of the main season will be Thursday 3rd November 2011

Scarefest 2011 Saturday 15th October – Monday 31st October 2011
The Alton Towers Resort Scarefest Event will swing back into action for 2011 and will take place between Saturday 15th & Monday 31st October 2011

Fireworks 2011 Friday 4th November - Sunday 6th November 2011
Alton Towers Resort will be hosting another 3 day Fireworks Event. The 4th, 5th & 6th of November 2011 have been set aside for this event.

Alton Towers Winter Wonderland- Dates are not known, It has been Rumoured that Alton Towers Resort will be open to everyone. Not Just Hotel Guests
